Hi all! Thanks again for checking out the blog. It’s been a week since I put up my first post and I wanted to do some quick reflections as well as outline my plans for the future.
I’m pretty happy with what has gone up on the blog so far. The School Days piece was something I’ve been wanting to write for over a year but never did because I didn’t afford myself an outlet like this while working on other projects. There are other banked ideas I’m interested in writing about too but they’ll be spread out amongst more relevant topics as I feel it’s important to talk about what’s current.
I’m expecting to post once or twice a week. For much of the content I want to write it takes viewing a series, taking notes and then organizing them into a coherent message which means I just need a bit of time. I’ll try to do updates like this when necessary but if you want updates more frequently then I suggest following my Twitter. I’ll also be posting quick thoughts over there on news or series I’m watching but may not write about in-depth.
Most of my content is going to be centered around anime as that’s an area I feel passionate about and what the majority of the people reading my content have been interested in. However, I’ll also be talking about film and gaming on occasion, the latter from the perspective of interactive narratives. Just wanted to get this out of the way now before they pop up unexpectedly from time to time! Again, the majority of my content is going to have an anime focus.
My next post is going to be on the Working franchise, particularly WWW.Working. It should be up tomorrow (Friday) if everything goes according to keikaku. (Believe it or not, I haven’t seen Death Note so my first viewing of that will likely be the basis for a post some point.)
That’s it! Thank you again for your support and I’m looking forward to speaking with you in the near future. ^.^
– Tim
Looking forward to it.
I enjoyed your post on School Days, though I don’t care much for the anime itself – I felt it was a well thought-out post and I’m glad to see a fresh perspective on a show.
